The Crossroads Center is the home of the Allegany County IDA.  This facility now includes two buildings.  The original building was constructed in 1998 for the Houghton Academy Elementary School. In 2004 the IDA moved their offices to the facility.  The building offers office space for the Office of Development, the County Planner, The Greater Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, ACCORD's small business development program through ACDSI, the Allegany County Foundation and the Allegany County EMT Training center.  In 2010 a new building was built next door that now houses the Allegany County Veterans Services, NY Connects and the Office for the Aging programs.  The Crossroads Center is serviced by the Allegany County Transit bus system with over 30 bus stops a day M-F here at this HUB of the system.

In addition to these offices the original building has classroom and meeting space available for rent.  Contact us at 585-268-7472 to determine availability and rates for your next meeting or event.  We offer four spaces that can accommodate as follows:

Chamberlain Conference Center This is the largest conference room at the Crossroads Center and can be setup in many different ways to accommodate your needs.  Typical layouts include a large square, a T layout or classroom rows.  The room can comfortably handle 60 people.
J. Dennis Kirst Conference Suite This is a Board room style room that can accommodate 10 people comfortably.  The room has a white board for notes and screening Powerpoint presentations.
The Class Room This room is a larger room that can accommodate up to 20 people in either a large square or setup as a classroom style.  Internet access is avaible in this room.   This room can also be available for long term lease including storage space and a private restroom.
The Meeting Room A smaller room for up to 6 people to have a meeting.  A desk with Computer is available in this room also for access to the internet.
ACCORD Computer Lab The Computer Lab is operated through the ACCORD Small Business Center ACDSI office.  The facility includes 12 Computer Stations with room for additional laptop stations.  The facility is wireless internet connected and has a Powerpoint Instructor station with projector and speakers.  Contact ACDSI directly to make arrangements to utilize this facility.

Coffee is available for any events.  If you have specific needs please contact us to assist you with all your needs.  A large TV/DVD/VCR is available.  Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility, just ask for the access code.  The Crossroads Center is a single level facility that allows easy access.  The restrooms are handicapped accessible.  A vending machine has snacks and drinks available also.

The Crossroads Center presently has an office space available for rent.  This two room office offers a secretarial/waiting room and an office large enough for a desk and small conference table.  Whether you need an office space for a month or a year or longer consider our central location for your new  base of operation.  Tenants have use of the meeting space within the facility for no additional charge.

The Industrial Development Agency office is located at the Crossroads Conference Center on New York State Route 19 just north of the Interstate 86 exit 30.
