Our PurposeOur purpose is to promote retention, growth, and expansion of business and industry thereby enriching the overall quality of life throughout Allegany County. This is accomplished by incentivizing the construction or rehabilitation of facilities and equipment in order to expand job opportunities within the area.
Our MissionOur Mission is to offer attractive incentives to manufacturers and other businesses to remain and expand in, or to relocate to, Allegany County New York, understanding that a strong plan for sustainable economic development begins with a clear vision for economic growth. The countywide vision for economic development may be summarized through a listing of overarching goals for economic development, a description of where such economic growth is desired to occur, and an identification of what type of economic development is envisioned.
